Ku-ring-Gai District Scout Camp 2022

The Ku-ring-Gai District annual Camp is a fun three (3) night competitive standing camp, hosted by the District for Scout aged youth members.

Join the camp ready to have fun! Be challenged! Work together with your team to achieve things not achieved by your Scout group this decade!!!! You could even go home with a trophy!

Patrols from all groups together gather in one location to set up patrol standing camp sites and participate in a fun, competitive and often silly program of events.

Will your camp site be a tropical getaway, an undersea coral reef or perhaps even Pirates of the Carabiners? This Years theme is “Oceans” Camp Rules and Timetable here

Planning for District Camp usually takes place during term 3 at your Scout meetings, so make sure that you don’t miss a night.

Activities at the camp offer something for everyone:
– around the camp fire as a patrol perform skits and sing camp songs together like competitors on the Voice,
– compete on the field with your patrol for the Golden Boot trophy (game to be decided). Previous scouts who have participated in this event have gone on to represent Australia in the Olympics,
– cook and entertain competitively putting TV Masterchef’s to shame,
– join our spiritual (and sometimes whacky) Scouts Own in the chapel.

There will be activities provided by Scout Vennies, Rovers and Leaders on Sunday afternoon.
