Environment Activities



Our aim is to help you find out what to do, at home, at Scouts, everywhere, to be aware of what we can do to maintain our environment for the future. There are projects we can do, and lots of different areas that you might be interested in. We're here to help you find out what you can do, individually and as part of your Scouting activities.

Environment Badge Camps

Ingleside Scout Environment Centre runs the following camps to enable the various Sections to obtain the World Environment Badge and parts of other badges. Please contact the appropriate person.

Groups can also arrange to visit Ingleside to undertake Environmental Educational Activities on any weekend.
Visits to the Camp could be for a few hours or a complete weekend. Camping at the site could involve a range of Environmental Activities interspersed with ropes course, compass trail, bush walking, orienteering, blind maze and other camp activities.

The Environmental Team can help you run an environmental themed, weekly meeting at Inglesdie.

Service activities based on environmental themes can be used across all levels of badge work, eg, Grey Wolf, Green Citizenship, Green Cord, Queen Scout and Baden Powell Award.

Inglesdie Scout Camp is an official Stream Watch site sponsored by Sydney Water. The Hawkesbury Nepean Catchment Authority also assists the Camp as a registered Landcare site.

Pittwater Council supply a supervisor as part of their Bushcare program.
