Ingleside Scout Camp
Ingleside Scout Camp is located off Mona Vale Road, in Bloodwood Road Ingleside, 30 kms north of Sydney City. The Camp borders Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Indoor Accommodation is available in two separate facilities, the Kinnersley Centre and the John Dyer Hut.
The Kinnersley Centre
The Kinnersley Centre has bunk accommodation for 50 in three dormitories, and bunk accommodation for 4 in another room. There is a large kitchen capable of catering for up to 100 people. There is a dining room and large indoor hall as well. There are toilets in the Kinnersley Centre.
The John Dyer Hut
The John Dyer Hut is suited towards Cub Pack Holidays. It has two dormitories with bunks for 10 in each and floor area for up to 30. There is also a kitchen and an outdoor dining shelter. There are toilets in the Dyer Hut.
The Scout Hut
The Scout Hut has 2 beds in one room and 6 beds in another room. There is a small kitchen and dining room. The Scout Hut is ideal for a Patrol Leaders training venue or a headquarters for larger activities run on site.
There is a separate amenity block with toilets and hot showers.
Outdoor camping for 150 on 9 large grassed campsites and 4 bush camp sites.
The camp has a Ropes Course and an Abseiling area, bushwalking in the adjoining Ku-ring-gai National Park. An Environmental activities program has been developed and is suitable for members of all ages. Ocean swimming and Narrabeen Lake (suitable for canoeing ) are 6 kms away.
