DESCRIPTION:Location – TBA \n\n\n\nTheory Sessions – 7pm Till 10pm on 11th & 18th August \n\n\n\nThis is an express version of our normal Rigging & Rescue course which will consist of two online theory nights. Significant pre-reading\, and an intensive weekend. The training sessions will start on the Friday evening. \n\n\n\nIf you want to build on your skills and work towards being able to take other people out abseiling then this is the workshop for you. Learn how to set up abseils\, rig for rescue and get yourself or others out of difficulty. This course aims to get you through the Trained Participant and Assistant Guide levels of the VET qualifications and can also be used to gain OAS qualifications. \n\n\n\nThe course is suitable for Venturers\, Rovers\, and Leaders. \n\n\n\nThe theory night is held at Barra Brui Scout Hall and includes a mix of theory presentations and practical components. Attending this workshop provides training for Safe Participant\, Trained Participant\, Assistant Guide and Guide along with the ability for youth members to achieve you Stage 4 Climbing OAS under Vertical (Youth Program). The course is suitable for Venturers\, Rovers\, and Leaders.The theory night 1 is held at Barra Brui Scout Hall and theory night 2 at a Climbing Gym.
