DESCRIPTION:This Cub Personal Development Course is for youth members in the Cub section who are looking to obtain their peak Award. At this event the youth members will do activities relating to leadership skills\, there will be some hands-on learning\, the youth members will be provided with morning tea and lunch\, but the youth members can bring some extra food just in case they get hungry or don’t like what is provided.  \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: Youth members need to wear their Cub shirts and scarf\, wear comfortable pants and enclosed footwear\, bring a water bottle and bring their manners.  \n\n\n\nA registration form will be online soon. DESCRIPTION:3 Sessions available to book\, the link is below to our new booking system & find the 23/11/2024. Please Please make sure you book the correct session. \n\n\n\nSession 1 – 8:30 AM \n\n\n\nSession 2 – 11 AM  \n\n\n\nSession 3 1:30 PM \n\n\n\nSydney North Region | Scout Event (scouts.com.au) \n\n\n\nJoey scouts will receive instruction in paddling skills & safety and participate in a short canoeing trip (approximately 1 hour). The North Harbour Scout Water Base (NHSWB) team will cover the canoeing aspects of OAS Paddling Stage 1; joeys will have the opportunity to demonstrate basic water safety skills and so qualify fully for Paddling Stage 1. There will be 3 sessions throughout the day; each 1.5 to 2 hours duration. Attendees are limited to a maximum of 30 joeys per session. One adult will be required to accompany 2 joeys in each canoe \n\n\n\nClosed shoes and a hat are mandatory (youth & adults). Shoes and clothing are almost certain to get wet. Bring water\, change of clothing\, towel\, snack (if wanted)

DESCRIPTION:Monthly Rockcraft Skills workshop – open to anyone who has attended a TP/AG (Level 2) course\, or Guides maintaining currency. Current Qual not required. This is a self driven workshop where we will cover what you need to work on toward your quals\, or what you want to practise/review. \n\n\n\nA great way to build your skills towards guide (or your OAS levels). Rescue workshops are also one of the ways you can demonstrate your rescue currency which is required for all guides\, and especially if you are going through requal.
