Please Please make sure you book the correct session. \n\n\n\nSession 1 – 8:30 AM \n\n\n\nSession 2 – 11 AM  \n\n\n\nSession 3 1:30 PM \n\n\n\nSydney North Region | Scout Event (scouts.com.au) \n\n\n\nJoey scouts will receive instruction in paddling skills & safety and participate in a short canoeing trip (approximately 1 hour). The North Harbour Scout Water Base (NHSWB) team will cover the canoeing aspects of OAS Paddling Stage 1; joeys will have the opportunity to demonstrate basic water safety skills and so qualify fully for Paddling Stage 1. There will be 3 sessions throughout the day; each 1.5 to 2 hours duration. Attendees are limited to a maximum of 30 joeys per session. One adult will be required to accompany 2 joeys in each canoe \n\n\n\nClosed shoes and a hat are mandatory (youth & adults). Shoes and clothing are almost certain to get wet. Bring water\, change of clothing\, towel\, snack (if wanted)

DESCRIPTION:At this event the youth members will be going around in patrols doing different activities to gain new skills and learn new skills \n\n\n\nWhat the youth members need to bring – Bring your own lunch with a water bottle\, need mess kit for the cooking base\, youth members are to wear Cub shirt and group scarf\, and bring a hat\, raincoat if the weather is looking not good. \n\n\n\nEach unit will select 6 youth member from their units to send along to this event. If you have more that would like to attend you need to record their names so they can go on a wait-list and if there is room they would be the first ones to be asked to attend. \n\n\n\nDate: 24th November 2024 \n\n\n\nLocation: Middle Harbour Scout Hall \n\n\n\nCost: $15.00 for youth members \n\n\n\nTime: 8:45am registration for a 9am start and finish at 3pm. \n\n\n\n				Registrations for this event have closed.
