DESCRIPTION:3 Sessions available to book\, the link is below to our new booking system & find the 23/11/2024. Please Please make sure you book the correct session. \n\n\n\nSession 1 – 8:30 AM \n\n\n\nSession 2 – 11 AM  \n\n\n\nSession 3 1:30 PM \n\n\n\nSydney North Region | Scout Event (scouts.com.au) \n\n\n\nJoey scouts will receive instruction in paddling skills & safety and participate in a short canoeing trip (approximately 1 hour). The North Harbour Scout Water Base (NHSWB) team will cover the canoeing aspects of OAS Paddling Stage 1; joeys will have the opportunity to demonstrate basic water safety skills and so qualify fully for Paddling Stage 1. There will be 3 sessions throughout the day; each 1.5 to 2 hours duration. Attendees are limited to a maximum of 30 joeys per session. One adult will be required to accompany 2 joeys in each canoe \n\n\n\nClosed shoes and a hat are mandatory (youth & adults). Shoes and clothing are almost certain to get wet. Bring water\, change of clothing\, towel\, snack (if wanted)

DESCRIPTION:Rock Climbing Practical Weekend. Attending this workshop provides training for Safe Participant\, Trained Participant\, Assistant Guide and Guide along with the ability for youth members to achieve you Stage 4 Climbing OAS under Vertical (Youth Program). \n\n\n\nThe course is suitable for Venturers\, Rovers\, and Leaders. \n\n\n\nThe theory night 1 is held at Barra Brui Scout Hall and theory night 2 at a Climbing Gym.
