See the video clip.
When is it?
9.00am Saturday 19th to Closing Parade at 1.00pm Sunday 20th November 2016.
Scouts may arrive Friday after 5.00 pm to set up camp.
Who is it for?
Scout Troops and the Venturer Units they may join, and associated adult Leaders.
Scouts must have completed their Pioneer Badge (Big Red).
What's it all about?
Its aimed at letting scouts get to know their local Venturers, and what venturering is all about. Its like Roventure for Scouts. It should be fun for all.
DIE TRY HARD !" - bring your own materials for the " DIE TRY HARD ! Campsite" and the "Best DIE TRY HARD ! Outfit" on Sunday Morning
Where is it?
At Camp Ku-ring-gai, near the Hawkesbury River at Lower Portland.
For what it looks like and how to get there, find it on Google Maps
How do you get in on it ?
The A1 form is the responsibility of each group because travelling time and mode of transport will be different for each group. Each person, including Leaders, must have a completed A1 form and must not enter the camp site without it.
Download and print the Invitation and Information Sheet and the Ventout Booking Form.
Send forms from Scouts, Venturers and Leaders going together in bulk to Sydney North Regional Office, not individually. Again, Scout Troops must be hosted by a Venturer Unit. Scouts without a Venturer Unit will be assigned one on the weekend.
The Registration fee is $30 for youth members.
There is no charge for Leaders, but they must register. All applications must be received by Friday 11th November 2016.
What about accommodation and food?
Camping arrangements, tents etc. are up to the Troop and their associated Venturer Unit, and their leaders. You must be prepared to cater for two lunches, one breakfast, and one evening meal plus snacks. Stoves only for cooking.
What's going to happen?
The program will be available 1 week before Ventout. The emphasis is on fun activities and a bit of competition.

What about uniform?
There will be parades at start and finish. Full uniform is not required, only scarves are required for travel to and from Ventout and parades. Clothing for muddy activities, constructions, and swimming will be essential. Hats, sunscreen and all the usual kit for camping should be brought.
The Big activities may require materials for constructions, and your participation. Look at the program to see if you need to bring anything.
THIS REQUIRES A SIGNED PARENTAL CONSENT, as on the Ventout Booking form. This year there will be an opportunity to be pulled around behind a speed boat for an additional cost of $10.00. Parents must sign that section of the Ventout Booking form for you to participate in this activity.
