SIS-10 Skills Transition - Sydney North Region Leaders - Get Your Current qualifications transferred from the old system to the new.

If you have an existing qualification you need to have it moved and recognised under the new SIS-10 qualification system.

Current Acitivities:- Abseiling, Bushwalking, Canoeing.

If you hold a qualification in another disipline this is not being done at this time. These qualification will be transitioned at a later time.

Please also note that this process does not include or affect any youth members below 15 years of age. They are all covered by their respective section award schemes. Under the SIS-10 system no one under the age of 15 can hold or is required to hold a qualification.

Paperwork Required and links to download:-

1. L6 Form - RPL of existing qualification.

2. L7 Form - If you have an external qualification you want recognised eg/ a TAFE qualification.

3. Log book - of trips undertaken in each skill area. Logbook can be written, photographic, include forms from tips etc. Download a Logbook Template.

4. Skills Recognition workbook relevant to the level you are going for. Click to see and download.

5. First Aid Certificate.

6. Cheque for $30. (Note you only need one cheque for each lodgement. ie/ Lodge Abseiling & Bushwalking pay only one $30 fee)

Please note that all copies of certificates need to be certified copies. That is they need to be certified by a J.P. (Justice of the Peace).
